1. Workshop Registration and Payment

Registration for EcoRecycle Malaysia workshops requires full payment at the time of booking. We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and corporate purchase orders. Workshop fees are non-refundable within 48 hours of the scheduled start date, except in cases of workshop cancellation by EcoRecycle Malaysia due to unforeseen circumstances.

Early bird discounts and group rates may be available for advance bookings. Corporate training programs require a minimum deposit of 50% upon contract signing, with the balance due before training commencement.

2. Attendance and Participation

Workshop participants must attend all scheduled sessions to receive completion certificates. Late arrivals may be denied entry to maintain the quality of instruction for other participants. We require advance notice for dietary restrictions or accessibility needs.

Participants are expected to engage respectfully with instructors and fellow attendees. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the workshop without refund. Safety equipment and materials are provided, but participants must follow all safety guidelines and instructions.

3. Intellectual Property

All workshop materials, presentations, and methodologies are proprietary to EcoRecycle Malaysia and protected by copyright. Participants may use materials for personal reference but may not reproduce, distribute, or use them for commercial purposes without written permission.

Photography and video recording during workshops may be used for promotional purposes. Participants who prefer not to be featured in marketing materials should notify us in advance.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Workshop cancellations by participants more than 14 days in advance receive a full refund minus a RM 50 administrative fee. Cancellations 7-14 days prior receive a 50% refund. No refunds are provided for cancellations less than 7 days before the workshop date.

EcoRecycle Malaysia reserves the right to cancel workshops due to insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, or force majeure events. In such cases, participants receive full refunds or may transfer to alternative dates.

5. Liability and Insurance

Participants acknowledge that workshop activities may involve handling of recycling equipment and materials. EcoRecycle Malaysia maintains comprehensive liability insurance but recommends participants have personal accident coverage. We are not liable for personal injuries resulting from failure to follow safety instructions.

Our liability is limited to the workshop fee paid. We are not responsible for indirect damages, lost profits, or consequential losses arising from workshop participation or use of provided information.

6. Certification and Continuing Education

Completion certificates are issued to participants who attend all sessions and pass required assessments. Certificates are valid for professional development purposes but do not constitute professional licensing or regulatory compliance certification.

We offer continuing education credits where applicable and maintain records of participant achievements for verification purposes. Advanced workshops may require prerequisite training or industry experience.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information collected during registration is handled according to our Privacy Policy and Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010. We use participant data for workshop administration, certification, and relevant communications about sustainability programs.

8. Website Terms

Our website content is for informational purposes and may be updated without notice. While we strive for accuracy, workshop details, pricing, and schedules are subject to change. The most current information is available by contacting our team directly.

Users may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or interfere with website functionality. We reserve the right to restrict access for violations of these terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Malaysian law. Any disputes will be resolved through mediation, or if necessary, in the courts of Penang, Malaysia. We encourage direct communication to resolve any concerns before formal proceedings.
